There wasn't enough seating for a booth, but we were able to sit at the lounge which was completely fine since we were still able to have a view. The sushi roll was extremely delicious! Nonalcoholic drinks were really good as well, we'd definitely oreder them again. Our fillets were super delicious and worth the wait. We both got them medium and they were cooked well. Seered on the outside perfectly! Waiter told us after that it was his favorite plate on the menu. Asparagus was thick and delicious. Mashed potatoes were so yummy!!!! Will definitely come again, came out to a little under $150.

We had the greatest waiter/sommelier! Funny, friendly, attentive (and he had a LOT of tables!). Food was timely. ambiance is lovely, at the piano bar the singer was very talented, modern music very cool. The view is impeccable. I've been twice. At night it is romantic. In the happy hour it was impressive to see the beautiful river below and Mt. Hood in the distance. of course, it's about the food. The mahi was perfectly cooked and a large portion, the seafood tower was a great way to try many things, lovely presentation & a nice selection of sauces to play with. the best thing on it was the tuna poke, which I would get on its own next time!

Delicious food. Not overly created, just super well done. Everything was cooked perfect. Service was perfect. Ambiance was great especially on a summer evening overlooking so much of Portland. Looking forward to going back.

Food was really good. Wait time wasn't bad. Although the waiter sold me on a rewards program I may not even use so that's my bad. Ambiance was nice, like a really good steakhouse. Pricey but very nice experience.

Two colleagues recommended that I have lunch at Portland City Grill before leaving the city. They had a great dining experience here and said the views were amazing. I took their advice and took an Uber here Thursday. What gorgeous views of Downtown Portland and of Mt. Hood! Portland City Grill is on the 30th floor of an office building. The elevators have a button that read 'Portland City Gril' because the restaurant spans the entire floor. I loved the dark wood of the bar and the stone tops of the tables aligning the walls. I could see there was also another dining room area, as well. The restaurant has many windows that let in natural lighting and allow for panoramic views of downtown. The snowcapped Mt. Hood can be seen in the distance, too. My waiter was welcoming and friendly. He brought bread to the table and refills of water. I tried one of their mocktails - btw there's a whole section on the drinks menu. The Shrub Life was refreshing and perfect on a summer day - the mocktail had blackberry puree, fig syrup, balsamic glaze, lime and club soda. For my lunch, I ordered the Pan Seared Steelhead, which came with grilled asparagus, crispy marble potatoes, pistachio basil pesto, and oven roasted tomatoes. It was delicious! Before I left, I took a few pictures of the view from my table. Great photo ops here. Overall, I would recommend going here at least once if you can for the experience.

This place is the best for views views and more views. A great view of Mount Hood from the bar area, where we were delighted and entertained by this wonderful pianist. The food is actually wonderful even from the bar you can have the full menu . I had the fresh Caesar salad with grilled salmon on top so delicious . They serve you fresh sourdough bread with warm butter . The music is not too loud. It's perfect and she sang for two hours. What a treat and... she was taking requests!!! Bonus! They have got a great wine list. A great cocktail list. The staff are so friendly in the summertime, It doesn't get dark until about 9:15 so we were there for a couple of hours enjoying the view.

As their name state, great place to eat to see Portland from a higher view. I will say the lighting is a but dark but giving the nice ambiance for a intimate setting. Service was excellent, we were originally seated in the middle of the restaurant but the manager, maybe not sure, got us the window seat to get the amazing view. Started with a pork belly and bone marrow app. The pork belly was my favorite. Pork belly was done 2 ways, making it a good amount for the appetizer. Could never go wrong with bone marrow. Took the marrow and used it as a spread on the toast. Wouldn't mind more bone marrow with the amount of toast that comes with the order. Ordered the Sea Bass Lobster Risotto. Amazing. The buttery goodness and a blend of flavors that compliment each other. Would definitely come back to try the other food.

Wow, if I could give 6 stars here, I would! Everything about this place was amazing, ambience, view, service, food selection and drinks! We went here for happy hour on a Thursday and got a table by the window, which I think was the last one even though we got there 5 minutes after happy hour started. They have plenty of seating in the bar area though, with high tables and barstools, and still can see the view! To start, I got the spicy prickly pear margarita, which was 10/10. From the happy hour menu, we went crazy and ordered the carpaccio, calamari, mussels, and truffle fries. My all time fave was the carpaccio, with the most delicious sauce! Next were the mussels, with a rich and buttery sauce that I could drink (but shouldn't)! The truffle fries were so good, perfectly crisp and flavored well! My last favorite, although still delicious, was the calamari. I think my taste buds were anticipating the flavor of plain calamari with a dipping sauce, but this one is tossed in a kung pao sauce that was yummy! The service was great and you can't beat the price! We might even go back two days in a row!
